SEPTA TO USE LOTTERY TO SELL PRIZED PAPAL REGIONAL RAIL PASSES

PHILADELPHIA >> SEPTA announced Wednesday that it will use a lottery to sell those coveted passes for use on the regional rails for the visit of Pope Francis in September.

Those wishing to be eligible for the lottery can access the SEPTA website anytime from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 on Monday, Aug. 3. SEPTA will then draw the winners via lottery.

The “winners” will then be notified on Thursday, Aug. 6.
