PHILADELPHIA >> Standing in the middle of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia, a few football fields away from the head of the Catholic Church, well, let’s just say it felt surreal.
Instead of a few pews separating me from the celebrant of the Mass, a few thousand people stood between us. But that didn’t diminish the impact this Mass was having on me.
If anything, it may have added to it.
