LANSDOWNE >> Father Paul Castellani is opening his doors Sunday to pilgrims of all types who venerate the pope.
For those unable or just not interested in negotiating the crowds on the Parkway, Father Paul is hosting a screening at the 1,100-family member St. Philomena’s in Lansdowne for anyone bearing a canned good.
Inspired by a similar showing at another parish, Father Paul will hang a 60-inch television for Sunday’s Mass.
“With Thanksgiving coming and everything else,” Castellani said about the reason behind collecting the food items for the needy.
