NOW THAT IT'S HERE, WORLD MEETING OF FAMILIES DIRECTOR CRILLEY FARRELL CAN FINALLY BREATHE

PHILADELPHIA >> It’s finally here and the World Meeting of Families Executive Director Donna Crilley Farrell couldn’t have been more thrilled.

Crilley Farrell said she is a much different person today then she was when she first began planning the event.

“The city is filled with pilgrims from all over the world and they are so excited to be here,” Crilley Farrell said Tuesday afternoon at the Kimmel Center of the Performing Arts prior to the launch of the WMOF Film Festival. “It feels so surreal. We have been planning this for so long, but I have to be honest, the planning has been really joyful.

“It’s like Christmas. The last couple of weeks have been like Christmas Eve and now I feel like it is Christmas Day. It’s truly a gift that everyone is here. We have people from Alabama to Zimbabwe.”
