Pottstown >> A Pottstown company has found itself in the center of this week’s history-making World Meeting of Families and papal visit in Philadelphia.
The 1.75-inch commemorative bronze coin produced by Keystone Mint in Folcroft and being sold in honor of Pope Francis’ visit, features a display box designed by SK Advertising and Design of Pottstown.
“I am ecstatic about it. It’s fantastic — the whole meeting and Pope Francis’ visit. It’s an honor to be able to do this, it’s such a high profile piece for us,” said Paul Kennedy, president of SK Advertising and Design. “I am a lifelong member of Saint Aloysius parish, so it has an added value for me.”
Kennedy said the process began back in November, when he was contacted by Keystone Mint to put together a design for packaging for the coin. Kennedy said Keystone Mint has been a client for about 10 years.
